Moto Citrus of Similar

My daughter's birthday is coming up and I'm looking to get her a new phone. She will be 12. She's had an LG flip phone for a few years and it's getting worn down. I've looked at the offerings for entry level Android phones and I'm leaning towards the Moto Citrus. But some of the reviews I've seen online aren't that great. But considering this phone will be for a 12 year old girl I'm thinking it should be fine.

Does anybody have one of these? Would this phone be a good enough for a 12 year old? Is there another phone I should consider? I'm only looking for an Android phone on Verizon.
