Droid 2 randomly freezes and sometimes reboots

Trouble #1: I tried searching for this, but didn't find anything quite like my problem. Anyway, I have a non-rooted Droid 2 and recently it began freezing, but it's kind of strange. It seems to freeze up with the screen just barely on. I have to really look at the screen at an angle, but I can see what was last on the screen just barely. Sometimes I hit the power button a few times and it comes back to the lock screen and all is well again (although when I'm hitting the power button nothing happens until the lock screen comes up). Other times when it locks up I let it sit for a minute and it reboots itself starting from the Droid eye screen (doesn't begin at the Moto logo like normal). It's been doing this a couple times a day over the last few days and is getting very annoying.

"Trouble" #2: Another thing that it's done only a couple times in the last few months is that it completely freezes at the lock screen. I can turn the screen on and off, but the touch screen is completely non-responsive. Like I said this has only happened a couple times total, so I'm not too worried about it. I just pull the battery and reboot. Just wondering if anyone has seen this before. I actually am on my 2nd D2 because my first one did this much more frequently.
