Problems with forum?

Postby VisBits » Tue Aug 31, 2010 11:37 am

Hi Guys, If you manage to blow up the forum I'd like if you could pm me the details on what you did.

Were testing a new software solution for PHP processing and want to make sure its absolutely flawless.

Thanks and Enjoy!

Regards,
Tyler

One of the biggest problems with this forum is going to be ROM's, or themes, or changes posted without the poster telling us what phone this is for. The solution is to have the forum divided into phone sections. If you don't I will have to sift through 30 posts to try and find the one post for my specific phone. Just a suggestion...

I've resolved your requested issue. Take a look under Development.

The only problem I have found is that when i go to droid-life.com on my incredible the web page never fully loads(even though it appears to have fully loaded) so the address bar covers up the top of the droid-life logo which has all the links including the only forum link. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the address bar to disappear since the progress meter is stuck at halfway.

I would say it just takes a really long time because there's a lot of photo's and data...what if you stop the page from loading?

I'm sure it won't always take a really long time to load, a phone reboot or switching to wifi would probably fix it. The site loads fully with all it's pictures in it's full glory after several seconds yet the progress bar halts at 50%. Hitting stop does not allow the address bar to go away. This is not an issue with the site or forum by any means thoughso I really shouldn't have posted it in this thread. I have bookmarked the forum = problem solved for me.

png images from drocap2 and screenshot are (barely) too large to post. I'd like to share my screen shots. Any way to increase the max file size to make this easy?

It looks like Drocap2 ranges from 280Kb to 320Kb, Screenshot 350-400Kb.
Thanks for your consideration.
