Evo4G unrevoked problem

Last month, I got an evo 4G replacement phone. I did the unrevoked.. piece of cake.. last week got a software update notification for 4.22 (which is the same as 2.3 i guess) i accidentally clicked install... obviously it froze upon reboot with the exclimation mark... no big deal pulled the battery out n rebooted fine.

THe problem i'm experiencing now is.. I cannot send or receive MMS.. txt msgs are delayed, and time stamp is off by 6-12 hours.. in other words , you send a txt msg at 11pm.. the recipient responds there after, but it stamps it at 4:30am... and some txts having been coming in.

I want to figure out (without doing factory wipe) to install 4.22 and worry about unrevoked at a later time...

What's the best method?
