what's everyone running now on their D1?

With all the new phones it seems like D1 rom and theme support is falling off the face of the earth. No updates to Sapphire forever and my favorite themes Incognito and Watermark'D seem to not be getting anymore D1 love either (actually I think Watermark'D is MIA right now). Since so many of the themes especially Incognito involve themed apps, and I finally broke down and bought root explorer so I could rip them out of the system folder so I can get the updated apps that's fine but it seems like the new ones aren't being themed either (I know that's not really a D1 issue though).

I guess I'm just wondering if there's still anything new and exciting out there for the D1. Seems like just a few months ago I was changing themes and ROM's weekly or more and now I've been on the same ROM and theme since september

Liquid Frozen Yogurt 1.8 dropped last week in an orange halloween theme. Watermark'd has been ported for it (not by Stewart, tho) and gflam posted the live wire theme. I know Liquid has stated that he is working on more themes as we speak.

ChevyNo1's Simply Stunning 4.9 also dropped last week. He has stock plus his normal blue themes, and YankindaSouth ported his Renovated theme over. Live wire is also available for this ROM and york is in the process of porting his 7 colors themes over. Oh and cush2push released sky theme for 4.9 as well.

Cyanogenmod 6.1 is in RC 3 status and should go full release soon.

So there is some new stuff rolling down the pipe. D1's aren't completely forgotten yet,

I'm running 4.9 w/ a modified Renovated theme right now, btw.

Chevy's roms are hands down my favorite. He's very responsive to any issues plus he makes his own kernels so you know they will work great. Also there are many themes available.

Sapphire for me and the word is that official CCroms will be pushing something out by thanksgiving they have been caught up with school and work

MIUI ROM 10.29 v 6.4 : this is a must try/get rom this thing is super fast and runs well with slayer kernels but you can use almost any out there... They have worked 99.9% of the bugs outta this thing and have it fully translated into english... this rom if fully functional and easy to use and fully customizable... I would head over to droidforums.net and search for miui and look at the offical thread... all i can say is awsome....

Thanks for the info guys. I'm thinking I might check out LFY until the new Sapphire comes out. I've used SS in the past and liked it but moved to Sapph cause I wanted to try an AOSP rom and Sapph's dev philosophy appealed to me. I think it seems like more what is missing is tons of new/updated themes to choose from to lay on top of the ROM.

Some of the really big ones like Watermark'D, Black Glass, Incognito for Sapphire haven't been updated in like 1 1/2 to 2 months. It's not really that the themes need updating as much as the new versions of some of the apps like maps, pandora, facebook, etc.

I'm on the ultimate droid 1.0.0 plenty of themes and always gets updated.

I'm running Project Elite V. 2. Its 2.2.1. I love it and u can overclock to 1ghz with the kernal that comes with it. It comes with a slayher kernal. Min 250mhz max 1ghz

I found a ROM that is FAST!! I flashed cyanogen 6.1, love all the features, but charity ROM is fast and smooth. It comes with chevy's 1.1ghz kernel and you can download setcpu profiles dew912 has. battery life is phenomenal!!!!! just check it out you won't be disappointed.

Just flashed Project Elite v4 today, after running Lithium Mod for months. I love this rom so much. Its incredibly fast, stable as hell, and for the first time in a long time I've been able to use the official Swype Beta (which I'm a member of), rather than a modded version of it. Running the included LFY Slayher 1.1ghz kernel.

I'm kind of slow at getting started on ROMs, having just rooted my D1 two days ago after owning it for two years. I installed the Bugless Beast (GPA19) yesterday, which took me to 2.3.7 of Android. So far I'm loving it. Screens are fast and I have no signs of delays when moving from the dock to home screen that I used to have on the original 2.2.2. I'm really glad I rooted and installed a new ROM, it's brought new life to my phone. Anyone know what is the fastest I can overclock the processor and not fry it or make it unstable? Bugless Beast has the CPU settings in the menus and gives me everything from 550 to 1000 Mhz as choices. I'm presently at 600 and it's running fine.
