BIG PROBLEM

OK so yesterday after manually installing the froyo 2.2 update on my Droid Inc. everything was going great, this morning when I went to plug my Dinc into my computer with the USB cord, my computer Freezes and when it resumes it does not recongnize anything in my "computer tab" under start up, and AS SOON as I unplug the phone everything resumes and works fine. this is a HUGE problem. any help would be GREAT ! thx ahead.

it shouldn't affect your computer. are you mounting it?
