Choose Default Application - Ringtone or Notification Select

I know how to change the default application that opens a program (manage applications >> in app, "clear defaults")
BUT
you know the little box that pops up when you go in and select your ringtone or notification sound? it asks you if you want to use android or music to select. Well I selected android as default, and I want to change that now since in my root/system folder i only have a few sounds (and I dont know how to copy all the audio into the system/media folder).
Did that even make sense?

ok i figured this one out. in case anyone needs this:
manage applications >> all >> "com.htc" >> clear defaults
