Need X help...System Info missing?

Brand new to Android and Droid X- just got it yesterday! So excited!

I'm trying to find out what version of Android I have, but when I go to Settings > About Phone, there is nothing about Android in the list. Only system updates, status, legal and safety are clickable. All other listed options are locked. Nowhere in the list does Android show up (phone is out of the box).

Ideas?

All other options are supposed to be locked. They are read-only as they state your baseband, version of android, kernal, etc.
