Some folks came across the newest Skype update and found that WiFi calling seems to be enabled. This is in fact incorrect, best I can tell, the update only allows you to keep your WiFi enabled during calls(which is a great feature) but calls still go through Big Red's 3G network. I really wish we'd get true WiFi calling but I'm not convinced that'll ever happen.
I do hope that Google(or a 3rd party developer) releases an app to enable Gmail calling on the mobile, might have to wait until hell freezes over though.
